To support a circular economy, it's beneficial to consider a garment's resale value at the time of purchase. Invest in quality pieces initially—they retain value better. When you no longer need a garment, reselling it at a fair price becomes easier.
In contrast, fast fashion items have lower resale value and lack the durability of investment pieces. They may not appeal to future buyers as much.
To maximize your garment's resale value, ensure they are well-presented. Please bring items freshly washed or dry-cleaned, and neatly ironed or steamed. A steamer is available in-store for any last-minute touch-ups. We cannot accept dirty, stained, or damaged clothing.
Organize your rack thoughtfully. Group items by type and colour-coordinate. Feature eye-catching pieces at each end of your display. As items sell, replenish your rack to maintain a well-spaced and attractive display throughout your sales period.
Seasonal clothing sells best. We recommend focusing on summer pieces during the warmer months and heavier knits and coats in winter.
Price your items appropriately for best results. For brand new with tags (BNWT) items, aim for around 50% of the original price. Other prices should reflect quality, condition and season.
If you lack enough items for a full rack, consider sharing with a friend.
When uploading items to Zellr, provide a clear, concise description starting with the brand name (e.g., ZIMMERMANN Blue Floral Dress - Size 10, AJE Puff Sleeve Mini Dress - size 12).
